If there is anything that needs the most try-on haul videos more than any other fashion accessories, that should be cosplay costumes. I was watching the try-on haul done by Lauren Burch on YouTube, and it got me thinking: cosplay costumes are not for everyone. Those things require innate artistry; thanks to Lauren, I would not have told what and where so many pieces went. At the start of the vlog, here is what Lauren looked like.
When I began watching the video, I had a rough idea that she would put on some fancy-looking costumes and look like a character from anime ( there is so much anime about Lauren, anyway). At first, I wondered why she skipped straight to put on the cosplay costumes and not doing the customary thing- I mean taking us through the step. Alas, just her natural self and a bit of playful makeup made her look like a character from an anime I have never watched.
Straight up, she gets down to picking out piece by piece. I counted more than ten, and there was a choker, some tops, and other small pieces. I was clueless about where they were going to end up. While at it, I kept wondering, even with tutorials, I don't think regular people like me could get it right.
When she was done, she transformed into an entirely different personality.

I could only recall the chokers, and everything passed me quickly. But the transformation was a good one. This is a pure work of artistry, and it only works for people who have a way of styling themselves. I can only imagine the troubles they would have to go through for an ordinary person to pull out this look.
But why the troubles? Considering all the work of artistry involved and the colorful theme it brings out, in this case, it gives Lauren Burch that anime-like look; it is a good way for self-expression. For people with similar interests, like anime characters, it brings them together and engages them in a conversation on what should have been added. Anyway, I think it will all be fun to watch. Imagine showing up in a park with people dressed in popular show characters. It is like Halloween, but there is no excuse for looking horrible (I hate Halloween parties, by the way).
